The
Arenal Volcano is active since 1968, it constantly ejects gases, water,
fumaroles, and sometimes the eruptions are accompanied with powerful
thunders. The ashes are carried by the wind over long distances
especially to the northwest area of the volcano. The lava comes out of
the crater with a very high temperature and it cools off as it flows
down. At the Hot Springs enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak.
