This horseback riding tour is half day, where you will have a good opportunity to see the local countryside and jungle. Do not forget your bathing suit to take a swim in a beautiful waterfall on the way. For birdwatchers we recommend going in the afternoon for a better chance to see the toucans and some other exotic birds.
What to bring: Long pants, hat, and a change of clothes, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars.
It is like rafting on the ocean with 8 paddlers and a guide in your canoe, you will glide easily past spectacular cliffs, filled with frigate birds and pelicans, and land on secluded beaches that offer the best snorkeling to be found on the central pacific coast.

Leaving from the Central Park of La Fortuna we visit cattle farms, a medical plant where you can follow production of all natural tea, soap and shampoo, butterfly conservation and a reproduction site.
Learn how some tubers and roots are prepared for exportation and visit a typical rural school and a private tropical model garden.
At the end of the tour you can enjoy warmth of Casona Rio Fortuna, where you will enjoy a delicious, typical country-style prepared lunch from the wood stove.
