Especially for those who want to go on a bike trip to the area where the forest, the Arenal Volcano and the Lake meet and leads through a beautiful trail.

The tour starts from the Arenal Lake Dam, where we take an old trail into the forest, where we will have the chance to see many different birds, for example: Squirrel Cuckoos, Keel Billed Toucans, Crested Guans, Trogons, howler monkeys and raccoons. This tour will be about four hours.

What to bring: Shorts or pants, camera and sun lotion.

A cascading 40-feet waterfall, giant rainforest trees and panoramic views of the ocean are all part of the ride at the Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram.

The ride on the Pacific Tram Open-air gondolas with canvas awnings seat eight passengers and a naturalist guide takes about an hour to travel a half-mile into the heart of a transitional rain forest.

The 210-acre private reserve is a transitional area between the drier climate of the northwest and the more humid climate of the southern coast.

What to bring: Binoculars, camera, comfortable shoes, hiking shoes, hot and repellent.

The Pacuare River cuts through one of the scarce pockets of wilderness left on the planet. We will stop for a picnic lunch on the riverbank.

What to bring: Light clothes, comfortable shoes or sandals , towel and sun block lotion.

Palo Verde National Park is a wildlife sanctuary. Scientists from all over the world come to study this rich ecosystem that combines rivers, marshland, mangroves and dry forest.

Our river cruise will take us on the Tempisque River, the most important one in Guanacaste, at the time of admiring the natural beauty of this park and looking for crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and thousands of birds that migrate to Palo Verde.

What to bring:  Comfortable shoes, shorts, insect repellent, camera.
Lunch included.

After a delicious Costa Rican breakfast, we will continue our upward journey to the Poas Volcano, a scenic drive next to coffee and sugar plantations through a rain forest. Take a close look at the enormous crater with its deep green lake as you admire its immensity.

Naturalists agree that this park has some of the world's most lush flora and fauna. We continue to the famous La Paz Waterfall, cross the continental division and start descending towards the Caribbean area, admiring the dense vegetation of the Braulio Carrillo rainforest and the unique beauty of San Fernando falls.

Afterwards, we visit Puerto Viejo, where our jungle motor- boat will be waiting for our two-hour ride on one of the rain forest and farms of the Sarapiqui River.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes, hat, insect repellent, suntan lotion and binoculars.
Breakfast and lunch included.
